Nesting

Ahhh nesting....Make crib skirt and curtains to match baby bedding.

Refinish dresser with paint and new knobs....I really should have before and afters!
Move Addie to big girl bed...need new bedding...here is the Duvet cover I made with fun flower button closure. ( Flower buttons a big hit with Addie)
Paint bedroom and put down new floor molding and crown molding.

Still left to do..........1. Paint 9 frames for the picture collage that is going over the baby's crib. 2. Embellish Addies bed skirt. ( I decided the plain white really needs something) 3. Create my own work of art to hang on wall above our bed. 4. Clean out a year's worth of crumbs from the car and wash car seat covers. 5. Clean and sterilize all baby bottles and toys 6. Wash baby clothes and bedding 7. Clean out and organize storage room 8. Finish cleaning out garage 9. Make a much needed DI run to drop off items 10. Make and freeze some meals so when I don't feel like cooking we have something to eat. 11. Paint Addies little rocking chair 12. Get bins that will fit under Addies bed to put toys in .

And the list goes on....Energy left to accomplish these tasks...zero.

Did you know?

Apparently, Batman does not wear underwear.   I guess that isn't too surprising considering that Jackson doesn't like to wear it either.  I found Jackson without again this morning.  He must have taken it off after I put him to bed.  Any ideas on how to convince Batman that underwear is important too?

Getting Big

Moved Addie to a big girl bed tonight. Wish us luck. I'm not sure Addie or Mommy is ready for the change. To be honest, it makes me a little sad. My baby is just getting too big. (Sigh!)

Addie's B Day Party

Happy Father's Day!

Kate:  I love you, Grandpa because you are great and take care of me and you are nice.  I really like that you do kisses with me and hug me when I'm feeling lonely.

Ella: I love you Grandpa because you are nice.  I like when you kiss me. I like when you read stories to me.

Jackson: You are a great Grandpa.  I love you. You are a sweetie pie.  You play games with me. I wish we could go there everyday and play my car with the remote control and charge it.

Maxwell:  Argggg, RAHHHH, DADADA, MMMMMM. (Translation:  I love you, Grandpa.)

2---I made it !

Addie has survived another year! We can't believe how fast she is growing up...our little baby is now a little girl. Addie is so excitied to be sharing her special day with her dad. Addie loves her daddy so much. So my video this year is an ode to Addie and the best dad in the world..Justin. I couldn't ask for a better husband or father for Addison. I can't tell you how much I love seeing them play together....So here's to two of the most special people in my world.
