Easter

We had two Easters this year...One in Idaho with the GiGi's and Grandma and Grandpa and one at home with Dad. We colored eggs yesterday and when the kids were at school...the Easter bunny bought all there stuff on clearance. Sshhhh!!!  Then we hunted eggs and baskets this morning.  We are only two days behind!

Notice all the egg dye on Sam's face.  He really gets into his work!!

The kids got these fun Butterfly and Bunny masks in there baskets.  They have loved playing pretend with them...flying and hopping around the house all day.
Sam loves his " Can-E".  As for his red eyes and rash all over his face...well, it's all over his body too!  He has had horrible skin since we was a baby and it flares in this massively bad way. We have tried all sorts of creams, and taken things in and out of his diet. Since typically at this age this would be the symptom of a food allergy.  Friday, we went to the Allergist for offical testing and he does not have a food allergy. Our offical diagnosis for now is Severe Atopic Dermititis with mild persistant asthma. Our new treatment plan includes..Singular everyday, Benadryl every night. Two new topical creams to slather him with, special shampoo, soap, and detergent free of dies and perfumes.  So far his skin is still horrible, but we have a check-up in six months with the Allergist...so we will see how it goes until then.
Hunting Eggs...Jake was at a disadvantage as Addie woke up first and had scouted out several eggs while waiting for him to wake up.

Spring Break 2012- Mall of America

Yep, that's right we spent our Spring Break in Minneapolis at the Mall of America...I know what you're thinking..."those guys totally party like Rock Stars!!"  Don't be jealous...these are just the kinds of exotic locations one gets to experience when married to an Airline Pilot, who lives in Minneapolis while you live in Salt Lake.  Yes, I traveled with all three kids by myself. A big shout out and Thank you to Apple...the iphone with it's hours of downloaded entertainment...saved my bacon and most of my sanity! Had to stop here....although Addie and I felt a little rushed by the men in our lives who weren't as eager to Oooh and Aaah over all the darling dities this store had to offer.
Amusment park...in the middle of the mall.
The boys were much more interested in this store!
We happened to be at the Lego Store on the first tuesday of the month when they have a clinic to put together and get out a free lego figure.  We made ducks...the kids loved it!
 Tired Sam...who didn't get a nap for two days...but was a trooper.
One of the Celebrities we met! Ming Ming is a nice in person as he is on the Show...in case you were wondering.
The Mall also has an Aquarium.  We saw StingRays. Petted star fish.  Oooh'd over Jelly fish and came face to face with Sharks, turtles, and Sea horses.
 We love Dora!!!
Mad that we had stopped for a photo op with the Easter Bunny on the way to getting Ice cream cones...Jake would not get in the pic. Nothing gets in the way of Jake and his Ice cream!
So we had to pop for a some rides at the amusement park.  Jakes favorite was of course the bumper cars and Addie loved the Sponge Bob pineapple bounce house. We had a blast visiting with Dad!
