Draper Temple Open House

Sooo...just in case you don't know...Addie has had a love affair with the temple lately. She wants to sing the temple song every night before bed (I love to see the temple) and every time we go to Grandma's she wants to drive by the Bountiful Temple. She is always asking to go inside...so...I thought the Draper Temple Open House would be the perfect opportunity. We had a wonderful time...and thank heavens Addie was even reverent during the tour. ( We have been rehearsing for a week how to be reverent at the temple!) If you ask Addie, here are the highlights: The baptistry, Addie wanted to know if she could get in the big tub. The bus, we got to ride in from our parking area to the temple and The cookie, she received at the end. Hopefully some of the other spiritual nuggets we were trying to work in will stick as well.

Christmas

So I am finally getting around to posting some pictures of our Christmas Adventures. Above are a few pics of the family and the kids in their Christmas finery.

Christmas Eve we went bowling with all the extended family. It was so fun to see everyone and such a riot to see all the little kids bowling. Addison sends much apologizes to Beck and his cheeks!

We had my family over for dinner after bowling and all enjoying watching Addie put out her Reindeer food and helping Santa with his cookies and Eggnog. How could she let Santa eat all of that yummy goodness by himself. Addie was thoroughly excited to see that Santa had in fact come to visit her....and Jacob. She has had as much fun with his toys as with her own. Over all we were completely spoiled and truly enjoyed getting to spend time with our families. We can't wait to do it all again next year. ( Especially Addie who cried when I took down the tree.)
