Grandma has been making all the grandkids jammies for the last 6 or 7 years!! The kids can't wait to open them on Christmas Eve and I can't tell you how much they LOVE them. I usually end up prying them off Addie, after at least 4 days of continual wearing, while explaining again why we need to wash jammies.

A successful Christmas morning...I love experiencing the kids excitment and joy. It truly is magical. Of, course that excitiment means rising at unsightly hours!! So unsightly that we enjoyed toys, breakfast, dressed in our sunday duds and make it to 9am church in Bountiful to Grandma speak in church.

What kid wouldn't love Christmas when it means non-stop presents from the moment you get up until late that evening. Such is the case for our kiddos..who get to enjoy presents at both Grandparents house on Christmas as well. It makes for a long day but we enjoy getting see all our family. Til' Next Year!!!

Pre-Christmas Festivities

This year we checked out the Odgen Christmas Village for the first time...We hauled the Reynolds Clan along with us for our adventure. Lights, and Charming little houses with christmas cheer and charm on the inside were the perfect way to enjoy a little Yule-tide fun. If only it wasn't so FREEZING cold!!!! We have decided to add it to our list of must do merriment next year, but vow to venture out on a warmer night!!

Christmas Eve bowling has become a new tradtion that the whole family enjoys. Poor Grandpa could only sit on the sidelines this year, but next year he better be ready to get his game on.

Lights!!

Our Annual trip to Temple Square to see the lights!! It is a must see for the kids and I love how excitied they are to see the beautiful lights. I must admit it is one of my favorite outings of the Season as well. This year we went with our good friends the Shields and their cute family.

Happy Halloween 2011

We had to stop at Grandpa and Grandma's Offices to do some trick or treating...and show off how cute we are.

Check out all the cool Pumpkins we grew!!

We read that the average kid consumes 7500 calories on Halloween from eating all that candy....I'm pretty sure ours came close. Most of it has know been confinscated and I have asked Justin to hide it from me and the kids.Posted by Picasa

Justin wishing he had his gun

It was amazing to see so many animals up close. I can't even count how many Buffalo and Elk we saw. Justin was drooling over these huge bucks. Addie was having fun doing her elk calls ...even Sam tried a few times. We also saw Swans, Geese, Squirels, Chipmunks, and 4 Coyotes.Posted by Picasa

Last Stop..Norris Geyser Basin

Tons to see at this area...we opted for a short 1/2 mile hike..as #2 was starting to show more and more of his tired crankiness as refusing to do much of anything.

Loved the amazing colors in these pools.

Poutfest 2011

What can I say...that's my girl.

Posted by PicasaThis little guy was a total trooper...So tired, but not too fussy. It was so cute to hear him say "Whoow, Whooow"..everytime he saw something cool.

The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

Upper Falls...easy two minute walk from the parking lot.

Uncle Tom's trail...steep downhill terrain and then 328 stairs straight down. This was one butt busting, thigh shaping work out. Then add a 3yr old to your back and you totally deserve those oreo cookies you ate afterwards. Addie beat us all to the top...this hike has nothin' on her.

Almost to the bottom...

Your reward for all the stairs...this amazing view of the lower falls and canyon. Totally worth it!!
