Cooler tempatures = that much more amazing steam...the kids were loving its mystical beauty. Ode to Sam...I can't get enough of your super cute, squishy, lovable face.

Old Faithful...Right on Time

We made it to Old Faithful with perfect timing on our part...lunch kept our little geyser's busy until the big one captured their attention a few mins after our munch feast began. They were much impressed with the spewing steam and water.

I love this picture...not just because it is an unflattering view of wet bottoms...but because I love what is says about Jake...holding his own among all those larger bottoms...making his path threw the crowd to reach the prize at the end of the struggle...a glorious ride down a fantastic slide. Keep this determination with you always Jake...for there certainly is a glorious prize at the end of every struggle.

Pumpkin Patch

Every year the Kids' preschool goes to Black Island Farms Pumpkin Patch...It is most assuradly one of their favorite outings. Not only do they get a tractor ride out on the farm to pick their pumpkin, but there is a courtyard full of fun. Pig races, slides, train rides, corn mazes and a corn filled sandbox. Hilarous little Jake had a really tough time picking the perfect pumpkin this year...all the pumpkins are small and about the same size, but he struggled to find one that was just the right "smallness" for him. Finally, we found a winner, ti was too cute. Addison loved the cow train and climbing on the tires. Sam just loved running wild. And I loved watching them have so much fun. Can't wait until next year.

Pee Wee Smart Start

We signed Addie and Jake up for a 4wk smart start sports class. Each week they focused on some of the basics of soccer, football, and baseball. Addie had a great time and Jake was more interested in playing with the cones than the balls. Verdict...Addie will get signed up for soccer in the spring, but I think we will wait on Jake.
