My friend Tiana made me a Bib like this as a baby gift for Jacob. It was so great I started using it for Addison right away. I love the coverage that this bib gives. Of Course, I had to make more right away. This bib is simple to make and has a lot of possiblities ie...adding cute appliques to the front. I love that I can just throw it in the wash with everything else and I love that I know it is lead free and not made in China. Yeah! for homemade!!

Blessing

Sunday we blessed Jacob. It was a wonderful day and Justin did a great job. Jacob's middle name is in honor of his Grandpa and Great Grandpa Hayes. Since the minute Jacob was born he has reminded us of G. Grandpa Hayes. We even call him Sqeak, not because of basketball like GG Hayes...but Jacob makes a funny sqeaky noise. Justin and I hope that Jacob will live up to both his wonderful namesakes. I had to stage the last photos of Jacob in his blessing outfit...because he pooped all over it on Sunday before I could get any pictures of him. Isn't that just the way things go. My Mom stiches every grandchild a Winnie the Poo blanket as a special keepsake. It's beautiful. Thanks Mom!

What we have been up too!

Addie has been spending lots of time with Dad..so Mom could recover from surgery. Justin and Addie have been to the Davis County Fair and hiking several times( Justin's favorite and Addie's too). They even attempted a camp out in the back yard. Which lasted all of 1/2 hour. Addie just wanted to play, play, play and Dad wanted her to Sleep, Sleep, Sleep. I have to admit that I feel bad that I missed all the fun.

Jacob is nearing 2 months old and has been a sweet wonderful boy. I am enjoying all of his smiles and coos. He loves to eat, sleep, and poop. Ahhh...the simple things in life.
